AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Baseball's Dylan Campbell has been named the Big 12 Conference Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday.
Campbell hit .538, leading Texas to a three-game sweep of West Virginia that the Longhorns had to have to clinch a share of their 10th Big 12 regular season title.
Campbell, who extended his school-record hitting streak to 33 games, had five extra base hits, including two doubles, a triple and two home runs. The junior outfielder was 3-for-3 in the first inning of games, sparking the Longhorn offense.
