There will be a lot of action for Texas basketball and new head coach Rodney Terry in the NCAA Transfer Portal in the next 10 days. A number of Texas’ top portal targets at this point of the offseason are expected to announce in the near future, which could bring the picture of the projected roster for next season more into shape.
After landing four portal commits in the last month or so (and getting one player from the NBA Draft), Terry and the Longhorns are up to eight scholarship spots occupied on the projected roster ahead of the 2023-24 season.
